$CRUDE Some would say not voodoo math, as I literally posted about dealer pin using my math and look where it went before dealer algos came in to push it back down. That is the 1.5x Monthly Range (HVOL) at 77.59 confluenced with 30 Day 1 (RVOL) at 77.80.

So #JATSPT measures range.
See the bottom oscillator? The white blue orange bands are the JATS Oscillator showing HVOL (historical volatility) 14 period range of the 15 Min Time period. Here, 1.5x the 15 Min Range is 66 Points. The yellow line on top is RVOL (realized volatility) 1 period range of the 15 Min Time period.
Example:
Notice top orange line is 44 Points. 1.5x 44 = 66 points. You can create ANY time period you want with this handy volatility tool available on @NinjaTrader -- you can tuck your stops and targets away from the crowd, and enter anywhere inside the distribution. Not just on the bar open or close. If you want to take an entry on a 8 EMA you can and then use JATS PT to dynamically measure the range for any distance you want for profit target or stop loss.
You are not just relegated to the 15 min time period either. Oh no. If you want to trade a 15 min signal but manage risk/profit target on a 60 min time frame, well, yes, you can do that. You can do anything you want.
You can also use RVOL with HVOL in your logic. I can show you how.

AMA #JATSPT -- Inside that Daily 1 is 68% of range; we measure range from Mean to 3, so our 68% of range is at the 2; you CANNOT get a trend day unless/until either Daily 2 breaks out; or Globex 3 can sometimes lead it (right oscillator showing we are also still below Globex 3 range). My indicator is like no other. None.
