Honored to host a delegation from the Joint Command and Staff College ( #JCSC), Karen during their educational study visit to the State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy earlier today. The 28-member delegation from the Kenya Defence Forces ( @kdfinfo), participating in the Senior Joint Command and Staff Course No. 41 (2025/26), was led by Lt. Col Shankata and engaged in insightful discussions on Kenya’s digital transformation journey and the strategic role of ICT in strengthening national development, resilience, and security. The participants are drawn from Kenya, Burundi 🇧🇮, Tanzania 🇹🇿, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫, Namibia 🇳🇦, France 🇫🇷, and South Sudan 🇸🇸, reflecting the international character of the course and the importance of shared learning in addressing modern defence and security challenges. The discussions also highlighted how investments in the Digital Superhighway, innovation, and digital infrastructure are contributing to national industrial capacity while supporting broader defence and security objectives.
