A few thoughts about #JDams, and the al-Ahli Hospital situation. Anyone expressing absolute certainty about the #hamas rocket vs #Gaza vs #israeli bomb debate is not being honest 1. I dont know what happened and I havnt seen anything that leads me to one conclusion or another 2. A JDAM is not just one thing, its a general term for a kit we can attach to any size bomb with any amount of explosive from ~a few pounds to thousands of pounds 3. Depending on the type of bomb used & fuse settings it can any where from 10 meters above ground to a few meters below ground 4. The substrate of the impact site plays a role, a hard surface & a 0 delay (impact) detonation may not yield much of a crater, with a soft dirt surface the same bomb may produce a crater. 5) Explosives are weird and not entirely predictable, fragments can do all kinds of strange things.
