We have been posting about the Journal of Experimental and Basic Medical Sciences. #JEBMS So far (up to volume 5) the journal has published 189 papers. As far we can tell four of those articles (shown in the image) are "Original Article". Every other article (185 of them) is labelled as "Review". Seem stranges, to us, that over 97% of the articles a journal publishes are review articles? Or, are we beiing too picky? https://t.co/A3T69bx9FD

We have been posting about the Journal of Experimental and Basic Medical Sciences. We are just about to do some analysis on time from "Received" to "Acceptance". #JEBMS Two papers, out of the 189 we are looking at, have their received date before the acceptance date. This is most likely a meta-data error but we just wanted to note it as in the analysis we are doing, we have switched these two dates, otherwise we have a negative value for the time in review, which would, obvioulsy, skew the analysis - and not in a good way for the journal. https://t.co/vbaXx5On1r

Who are Oytun Erbaş's co-authors? We have been posting about the Journal of Experimental and Basic Medical Sciences, specifially how many articles Oytun Erbaş has authored, bearing in mind he is the EiC, the owner and the publisher (see first comment). #JEBMS In his journal he is an author on 168 articles, of the 189 articles that the journal has published. In this graph we show his top ten (actually 13 as he has published four papers with seven authors) co-authors. Coincidentially, he has actually published with 168 co-authors. This would suggest that he has published his 168 articles with a different co-author on each article, but that is not the case. 79 of his articles have two authors and one of his articles has eight authors. Other atricles has three, four and five co-authors. None of the articles have Oytun Erbaş as a sole author. If anybody is interested in a deeper analysis, let us know - we can do a deeper dive.
