Phils Winter Meetings predictions: 1. I think both Schwarber and JT re-sign this week. 2. They trade for Jake Meyers to play CF and replace Bader. Think Bader has a pretty big market and with JT and Schwarber re-signing they’ll need to find a cheaper option in CF. Meyers had a career year last year at the plate, but is one of the best CF defenders in the game. I think they’re really going to start prioritizing defense in the org.

Jack Fritz on the Phillies last night during Final Out on 94WIP: "This offense stinks. It's just an excruciating offense... "If you look at the Phillies lineup on paper, it's good. You have quote, unquote stars up and down the lineup...This Phillies offense does not hit the ball hard. They don't hit the ball hard, they don't do damage, they don't slug. For as much as we talk about it's either home run or bust, it's barely even that. It's just a totally, totally lackluster unit."
