#JalanPanel recommends changing ⁦@RBI⁩ fin year to April-March. ⁦@bsindia⁩ says central bank board accepted it. This means no more interim dividend as RBI accounting yr will be in sync with govt. Smart move

#RBI has,in toto,accepted #JalanCommittee reccomendations Rs 176051Cr to be transferred to GOI,of which Rs 123414Cr,is a #surplus for FY19 Rs 52637Cr is a transfer via excess provisions under #ECF Handsome rally in bonds&equities today,just got a booster dose😃 #Modinomics💪

All eyes on @RBI board meet today. No more fight with govt but how much dividend it pays to govt after its board signs off annual accounts. Last year it was Rs50,000 cr, 60% over previous year. And, of course, what #JalanPanel says on excess reserves transfer. Wait for few hours
