A little bit late to the party I started to zap through some #JavaOne2018 videos. I'm positively surprised that the >>idea<< of functional Java is finally main-stream! I predict that we will see more functional additions to Java over the next years.

Will there be a selective sedimentation of persistent collections into the Java platform? If so, we would have come a step closer to our goal. Thank you @PaulSandoz, he explains in his #JavaOne2018 talk why persistent collections are important. Video: https://t.co/tkjjAQrAei
