@SprolesThe Glad you like the vibe Sproles. SG is 1 of my all time Jazz groups which I've been vibing to since I was a teenager & their founder #JayBeckenstein is 1 of the great contemporary saxophonists of our generation IMO. Got lots of SG's music lined up for today.
@CloudJazz @SpyroGyraGroup @billy7663 @YouTube Continuing #JayBeckenstein's BD recognition is the mesmerizing ode to his opera singing Mom Lorraine. Drummer #EliKonikoff did a masterful job on the original version's drum accompaniment. Here is #EarlBennett AKA 'The Hammer's great cover

@ThatEricAlper Iconic jazz fusion band @SpyroGyraGroup 'Morning Dance' is an LP I didn't appreciate @ 1st.But over time, songs such as the title track,"It Doesn't Matter" & this tribute to band founder #JayBeckenstein mother "Lorraine" turned it into 1 of my fav jazz LPs

#HappyBirthday #JayBeckenstein of #SpyroGyra! After renting this VHS from the local video store 40 years ago, I knew I wanted to play the #saxophone. Today, my son @frank_dibari is also a fine saxophonist! Spyro Gyra - Live In Concert 1980 https://t.co/7m1kYWcBih
