🌿What you do, what you say, what you write, do so with care and positivity in mind. You can't unwrite what you wrote. You can't unsay what you said. You can't undo what you did.

Ensuring your résumé is ATS friendly has been a game-changer for me. Earlier this year, I paid $35 for Indeed’s résumé reviewing service and updated it for what felt like the umpteenth time + plus streamlined two other résumés.
All I can say is, after making proper changes, this is the most traction I’ve received in my job search for interviews and actually being seen.
So if you haven’t, then I highly recommend doing so or something along those lines.
Most candidates apply.
Fewer follow up.
Almost no one follows up well.
Don't just say “"following up": add new context, a win, or thoughtful note.

Thinking about changing jobs or facing job loss?
Start with reviewing old emails from headhunters. They give an excellent indication of which recruiters are working in your industry.
It's an often missed goldmine.

Career advice.
Focus your efforts on engaging with your second-degree contacts instead of just your immediate circle.
Exploring these extended connections could be the key to finding your ideal job.

Most people make this mistake after losing their job:
They turn to their immediate network: former bosses, close colleagues, and friends.
Logical? Yes. Efficient? Not so much!
This network is small and rarely has direct hiring power.

Interviewer:
Why are you interested in this position?
Understanding the question:
This question aims to gauge your level of enthusiasm and motivation for the specific role and company.

Panelist: Any questions for us?
Avoid asking questions that could easily be answered
through basic research.
It could reflect badly on your seriousness as a
candidate.
@MichaelHyatt Absolutely! Time is finite, but energy can be replenished. Invest in what invigorates you, and productivity will follow.

Thinking of joining a new company? Look at their turnover first.
Lots of people leaving?
Major red flag. What’s driving them away?

#JobSearchTip: Use your LI headline on your Twitter page too! People are networking on Twitter all of the time looking for professional candidates. Note: make sure you have a GOOD headline (not just a job title).
#JobSearchTip: READ the job posting in detail prior to applying.
Don't just skim it and think that it sounds good.
Look at the skills and other requirements to ensure you are actually qualified for the job.

#JobSearchTip: Don’t forget about cold outreach! Reach out directly to companies you're interested in, even if they don't have any job postings. Share your enthusiasm for their work and mission, and ask about potential opportunities.
#JobSearchTip -Getting the "no longer accepting applications" notice isn't always an indication that role is filled.
1. Go directly to the company's website/career site and search for the role.
2. While you're there, search for other roles. 😀
