Even the charitable voting aspect serves a greater purpose. People can support artists they believe in while also helping fund programs that bring hope and healing through art. That’s a win for everyone. To me, true humility isn’t thinking less of yourself—it’s using your success to lift others up. Johnny Depp has done that repeatedly throughout his career, and I believe that’s one reason so many people respect him.
