After a continuous search, her mutilated body was found late at night around 11 PM in an under-construction empty plot in Asghar Colony. According to reports, the 8-year-old innocent girl had gone out of her home in Asghar Colony, Sakrand, under the pretext of getting something from a nearby place. Her body was found in a vacant plot, showing severe signs of torture — both her ears were cut off, one arm was severed, and her throat was slit. Sakrand police shifted the body to Taluka Hospital Sakrand, where after legal formalities, it was handed over to the family. Announcements were made on social media and through loudspeakers for the search of the missing child. Heer originally belonged to Nawab Wali Muhammad village and had come with her parents to visit her maternal grandparents. She had been missing for two days before her body was discovered. According to the family, the girl was wearing gold earrings weighing more than a tola. Today, a search operation was launched with the help of lady police, during which the body was recovered. Sakrand SHO Ali Akbar Channa said that after the search operation began, the suspects took the body from a house in the colony and dumped it in the vacant plot. He added that another house-to-house search operation would be conducted to arrest the culprits. Upon seeing the body, the parents and especially the mother broke into heartbreaking cries. The mother had gone door to door and to various shops in the colony appealing for help in finding her daughter. The duty lady doctor stated that samples had been collected and would be sent to the laboratory for further examination. Locals placed the body on the National Highway and staged a protest, which ended after the administration assured action.
