This is truly an end of an era, but what a ride it was during that time. My entry into Magic Eden was rough - during the FTX crypto bear market after the crypto startup I was at was closing shop. I had zero experience with Bitcoin joining Magic Eden, and immediately jumped into building out BItcoin auctions witih zero pressure, and basically speed-run absorbed everything about Bitcoin, Ordinals, and more during that time. After completing that project, I was switched over the BTC team full time, and had the honor of working with some of best people in this space. And in the midst of all the changes that was happening within Magic Eden during the Ordinals golden years, BTC team was a oasis in the eye of the storm all around us, perfectly left alone to manage our own roadmap (and built some of the best features for Ordinals :)). Eventually all things come to an end, and while personally don't see eye to eye on not focusing on the immense potential that is the BTC ecosystem (Ordinals, Runes, and beyond), I respect Magic Eden finally resolving the major issue of lack of focus that has plagued it for a long time. I wish them all the best, and now the Ordinals community needs to finally leave the Garden of (Magic) Eden to finally grow up and mature into the best version it can be :)
