One aspect of KiiChainโs journey that I admire is the team's swift and decisive response following a security incident.
On August 22, the network was attacked via vulnerabilities in the shared Cosmos EVM module; approximately 148.3 million KII tokens were drained across 18 separate attacks.
To contain the situation, KiiChain halted network operations and worked to trace the attackers and recover the lost funds.
Subsequently, they released version v7.4.0 to address the underlying issues, blacklist the attackers' addresses, and reclaim the remaining funds on the network.
A few days later, @KiiChainio announced that the network was back online, the chain state had been verified, and the majority of the tokens had been successfully recovered.
The way the KiiChain team transparently responded to and resolved this incident.
The way network security was enhanced and the subsequent construction work was carried out certainly instills greater confidence and a deep sense of satisfaction regarding the future.
