Good to see members of the #KPSPNetwork sharing their views on how development is delivered in Kibera. Chairman of #KPSP10 #AndoloBridgeCommunity Mr. Julius Marege asked that information be provided early enough to the residents of #Kibera #PeopleFirst @KDI_Kenya

The team present including engineers, KPSP network members, and MP Kibra representative, emphasized the need for public participation through holding consultation meetings with the Kibera residents and providing up to date information on the project.

#KPSP10 is the first intervention to be built under the #CommunityResponsiveAdaptation to Flooding research project. We hope that such community assets can be preserved and scaled as various development projects are implemented in #Kibera @NMS_Kenya @KURAroads

#KPSP10 that hosted @AlokSharma_RDG @JaneMarriottUK in Andolo Village, is a community asset that combines several approaches to reduce flood risk while incorporating the community’s wider economic and social priorities.

On @NMS_Kenya devts in Kibra, Chief Samuel advised that the road is expected to come up to #HopeSchool. He would confirm & share info with the group, advised that there will also be cleaning if the river & #AndoloBridgeCommunity should engage. @KDI_Kenya #KPSP10 #KPSPNetwork
