Highlighting KREDL's remarkable achievements for FY 2023-24, the organization reported a net profit of ₹135.12 crore and declared a 30% dividend. Additionally, ₹5 crore from KREDL's earnings were contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, underscoring its commitment to Karnataka's progress under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble CM Shri #Siddaramaiah.
ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ (KREDL) ಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ₹40.53 ಕೋಟಿ ಡಿವಿಡೆಂಡ್ ಚೆಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದೆವು. ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಆರ್ಇಡಿಎಲ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಟಿ.ಡಿ.ರಾಜೇಗೌಡ, ಇಂಧನ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಪರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೌರವ್ ಗುಪ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಆರ್ಇಡಿಎಲ್ನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಪಿ. ರುದ್ರಪ್ಪಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇತ್ತು.
ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷ 2023-24 ರ ಅವಧಿಯ KREDL ನ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ₹135.12 ಕೋಟಿ ನಿವ್ವಳ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ 30% ಲಾಭಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಆರ್ಇಡಿಎಲ್ನ ಗಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ₹5 ಕೋಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನಿಧಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಸರಕಾರದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಇದು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.

This morning I participated in the “𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞” along with Union Minister Sri. @sarbanandsonwal organised at the #NewDelhi.
Opening with the key note of the conclave which focused on "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲", at the event, I spoke in detail about the 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 which focuses greatly on 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 and carefully choosing 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, and highlighted the 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 which is causing irreversible damage to our ecosystems and rain patters. I mentioned that 𝟑𝟎 𝐆𝐖 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐄 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 & 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚 which was the first state in India and the largest in the world to commission (at that time) the 𝟐𝟎𝟓𝟎 𝐌𝐖 𝐏𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤.
Emphasising that our state is in the process of formulating a 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚 as a perfect investment destination for green hydrogen projects. I said 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 (𝐄𝐕) 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 ahead of all other states in the country.
I shared with the forum about state’s𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐡𝐚 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 which is empowering the domestic consumers of the State, with 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 which is implemented and the subsidy amount is passed on to the distribution companies in advance. In this scheme, around 𝟏.𝟓𝟔 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝.
𝗜𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ "ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಟುಡೇ ಇನ್ಫ್ರಾಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಚರ್ ಕಾನ್ಕ್ಲೇವ್" ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ. ಸರ್ಬಾನಂದ ಸೋನೋವಾಲ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದೆ.
"ನವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಇಂಧನ ಮಾದರಿ" ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನುಡಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಇಂಧನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾದರಿ ಇಂಗಾಲಾಮ್ಲ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಸ್ಥೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಳೆಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ತೀರಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಾನಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. 30 GW RE ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಜನಾ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿ, ನಾವು 2050 MW ಪಾವಗಡ ಸೋಲಾರ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಮಿಷನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಹಸಿರು ಜಲಜನಕ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ತಾಣವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಹಸಿರು ಜಲಜನಕ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ವೆಹಿಕಲ್ (ಇವಿ) ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ ದೇಶದ ಮೊದಲ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನತೆಗೆ 200 ಯೂನಿಟ್ಗಳ ಮಿತಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸರಬರಾಜು ನೀಡುವಾಗ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಂಗಡವಾಗಿ ಸಬ್ಸಿಡಿ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ದೇಶೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರನ್ನು ಸಬಲೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸಚಿವರು ನೆರೆದವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 1.56 ಕೋಟಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

#Energy plays a significant role in the state's progress. #Karnataka tops in #RenewableEnergy courtesy it’s timely policy interventions and commitment towards green energy. Over 47% power generation in #Karnataka comes from renewable energy sources, reducing the dependence on thermal power.
However, the state is experiencing extraordinary situation of high-power demand due to failure of monsoons. Due to which, surge in demand is being experienced. The deficit rainfall in the State has increased demand for agricultural IP loads. To save their crops, the farmers have started using the IP sets earlier than the regular season.
The State had recorded peak demand of 16950 MW and energy consumption of 294 MUs on 25th August 2023. It is noticeable that the State's highest demand in last year August 2022 was only 11268 MW. The State's highest consumption in August-2022 was only 208 MU, while the State has met peak consumption of 294 MU this August-2023 on 25.08.2023. The State is facing a daily shortfall of 40-50 MU.
The reservoir levels are very less when compared to last year leading to heavy dependence on the thermal sources to meet the state demand. Also, In the month of October it was observed, the RE generation (Wind & Solar) has reduced considerably. Also, many of the coal mines from where the State receives its coal for thermal power plants have received heavy rains due to which KPCL is receiving wet coal resulting in frequent breakdown of plants.
All the above adverse circumstances has led to the State facing acute shortage of approximately 1500-2000 MW.
@EnergyDeptGoK under Shri. @thekjgeorge has already initiated an action plan to mitigate the shortfall in power situation in the state.
