#Kwality Pharma - excellent work on the R&D side RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (R&D) During the year under review, the Company invested approximately βΉ60 lakh in R&D machinery and equipment to strengthen its research infrastructure and enhance its capabilities in undertaking advanced research and development activities. The Company successfully completed the characterization of the protein chain of Erythropoietin, and the pre-clinical study has been submitted to the Review Committee on Genetic Manipulation (RCGM) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). Further research activities are underway in the areas of biosimilars and peptide-based therapeutics aimed at addressing various diseases. The Company has also implemented advanced molecular simulation software to study the theoretical interaction of amino acid molecules with biological cells, with encouraging preliminary results. A dedicated scientist, supported by a qualified biological technical team, has been appointed to drive these research initiatives. The Company is optimistic that these efforts may lead to the development of novel therapeutic molecules over the next two to three years, subject to successful research outcomes, regulatory approvals, and commercialization. During the year, the Company completed the registration of approximately 30β40 oncology products across highly regulated and semi-regulated markets.
