#katescottow was literally ordered by a judge to be kind whereas a man who had done EXACTLY what she had done was held to be 'robustly disagreeing' so frankly...feck off with the ordering us to perform emotional labour thing.

Women are socialised from childhood to “be kind.” We are always told to just be kind and then that kindness is taken advantage of until even disagreement is unacceptable.

@MForstater So I’ve just been catching up on the Orwellian nightmare that is the #KateScottow trial. Scottow was yesterday found guilty of thoughtcrime. I’ve read @PinkNews (which must be having a hard time over its editorial line) @DailyMailUK @guardian and a couple of others....
@lilithstuff @Holbornlolz @HarryTheOwl I don't think a male judge would have told #KateScottow to "be kind". It has to be said that a lot of this "be kind" stuff in relation to transwomen is coming from prominent women (judges, politicians, police, journalists, some feminists).
Since when has "being kind" or not been a chargeable offense? Is there a sexual dynamic here where the judge who found for @WeAreFairCop was a man and yet the judge who found against #KateScottow was a woman. Has 'feelings' taken over from precedent?
So here we are. The law says men are allowed to be "irritating, contentious, unwelcome and provocative."
Women have to be kind, or off to prison they go.
