Another way to #KeepGoodTs is to encourage them deliberately if they have a year with a tough class, student, or parent. My first year, someone told me, “These challenges are not about you. This is one of the hardest classes I’ve seen.” I left that district but kept teaching!

@JLedTeach @mtnshadows19602 @DVUSD Well and Ts don't have all of the answers/resources/etc., but asking is alot and so its easier to push through. When someone asks, it not only shows they care, but it opens the door for that conversation, and for them to ask for what they need. It's valuable to #keepgoodTs.
"It made me a better teacher," is something I hear all my #NBCT friends say-and I've never heard anything different than that. That is pretty high praise for any program! #KeepGoodTs
@2014ORTOY I mentored 1st-2nd yr sped Ts in my last district. The induction coach pay was minimal, but the work was meaningful. Now, I’m focused on supporting National Board Certification because I believe the time investment has bigger retention payoff. #KeepGoodTs #amAzingNBCT #NBCT

So many times I think it's assumed that good teachers have it all together and sometimes they're the ones who need a little help the most. #KeepGoodTs

I buddied up with a 1st yr teacher this year. They were going to teach Ancient Egypt-I had a box of stuff, but I put out a cry for help on twitter and was given so many great ideas, links, and a couple of really special teachers emailing curriculum to him! #KeepGoodTs

For those who go into other classrooms, it is important to tell Ts what makes them great. I don’t think Ts get enough feedback since evaluators are so bogged down with other tasks these days. It doesn’t take long to say “That was cool” and those moments retain Ts. #KeepGoodTs

I recently told a teacher friend I would come over after school and help her do paperwork. LOL...I once offered to babysit twins for a teacher so he could go to an event with his wife and have her support. #KeepGoodTs
