Mayor @QuintonLucasKC, filmmaking is a proven revenue generator for #KC. Film Office budget is $400K+, so the $175K @KCMOBudget gives helps generate $10M+ in rev every year. If budget is halved, $4-5M in rev is lost.

If the city has to find another $5M next year, they'll keep looking to the arts to fill that gap.
It doesn't make any fiscal sense to cut programs that generate this much revenue. It just hamstrings everybody next year.
We must stop this now.
