7 habits of highly miserable recruits: 1) Constant comparison to other players. 2) Zero pro activity with reaching out to schools. 3) Obsessed w/ being a ridiculously higher level than they probably are. 4) Won’t follow up with coaches at smaller schools. 5) Want visits at schools they have zero interest in just for “leverage” 6) Don’t love football fundamentally enough to stick with it in college anyway. 7) Are being pressured into recruiting, however lovingly, by their parents/others when they just would be probably happier just as students. Just because recruiting is a “good idea” doesn’t mean you have to do it.
