Quite amazed to see people wishing #Ram navmi today.
Plz note today is just navmi not Ram navmi . Ram navmi falls on the navmi tithi of ‘Chaitra’ navratri not ‘Sharad’ navratri.🙏

Difference between Ram Navmi and Maha Navmi.
While #RamNavami is celebrated during #ChaitraNavratri (April) to celebrate birth of Lord Ram; #MahaNavami or #DurgaNavami is celebrated during #SharadNavratri (October) to celebrate victory of goddess Durga over demon Mahishasura

I think this confusion is because Ramleela is associated with #SharadNavratri instead of #ChaitraNavratri and most of people think this as Birthday of Bhagwan Ram.
Till few years back,I too had same confusion.
Thanks for clarifying it for the benefit of all🙏

#Knowyourfestivals #naagpanchami
