What is the difference between what John is admitting to here and the corruption that the DA is often mouthing about?
Maybe I am unintelligent, but this sounds to me like exactly what the DA often chastises the ANC for, using state power to drive their own interests.
Said differently, this sounds like “it's not about corruption. It's about who gets to be corrupt and who gets to be the corruptor.”

He says Tony Leon’s PR company has lobbied against him through his company Resolve Communications which is doing work for FMD Response SA. Steenhuisen also says DA ministers, most notably Solly Malatsi, were contacted to meet with Starlink as other lobby work by Resolve.
I’ve long suspected the Starlink connection to Tony Leon’s firm. Now, did he advise Musk to run the deeply racially divisive campaign of white genocide lies that would make Bell Pottinger blush? The damage to South Africa is incalculable. Questions that need immediate answers.
News24 says Steenhuisen says he was “shocked to learn that Leon’s Resolve Communications was the driving force behind FMD Response SA, a lobby group critical of the government response to the (foot and mouth disease) outbreak.” He says Leon never “reached out to him privately…”
