"#Kyivan_Rus, First Eastern Slavic state. It was founded by the #Viking_Oleg, ruler of #Novgorod from c. 879, who seized #Smolensk & #Kyiv (882), which became the capital of #Kyivan #Rus."
The owner of one of them got into a burning car and drove it away from other cars so that they did not catch fire. The man received burns but saved people's cars from the fire.
Today, the #Kyivan was awarded by the police. Our people are indomitable.

The first known use of the name #Ukraine dates back to 1187. The predecessors of contemporary Ukrainians lived on that territory since 5 AD. #Rus is one of the names of the #Kyivan state. It was stolen by the Moscovies later.
Looking back on 2022, how ironic was it that in March the #Russian tanks couldn’t breach the old earthen fortifications that #Kyivan Rus-#Ukrainians built as a defence against the invading 13th Century Mongol Horde, & weren’t on the Russian maps? A thousand years of protection!

Near #Poltava a blacksmith signed this medieval sword «коваль» in Ukrainian not «кузнец» in Russian
