Adam Lally was grilled by defense attorney Rosemary Scapicchio on why he didn't demand that Michael Proctor hand over outstanding discovery in a murder case. He had no answer. He said he followed up with Proctor several times but never got it. He said he would normally go to Proctor's boss Brian Tully and ask him for it, but he says he doesn't "recall" if he ever did that with Tully. Despite having several discovery hearing he never once notified the court that the police were stonewalling him on discovery requests. He is blaming the State Police, while also admitting that when the State Police violate the law he doesn't do anything about it. Judge Cannone did not allow this sort of hearing to take place prior to Karen Read's trial.
