Font plays a big part in how we perceive information in any form of media that uses text.
Recently I have experimented and have figured out how to easily and efficiently implement new fonts into #project2088.
This particular font had 255 index's to denote each character, be them numbers, letter or other.
But not all 255 index's are in use By this particular font.
Then converting this font into a material, the text renderer could use, posses a problem with the opacity. Finding a sweet spot where the text is visible, clear and legible and not a mess of pixels splotches.

But this is why I'm writing this.
As the font is ordered and indexed by the base material. I can modify the emissive, opacity mask, and base colour. I have made a LED holographic "ripple" material that can now be applied to the text in game. The effect in the Dark is beautiful
