@smwgilbert Between my partner and I we would spend 5 hours a day commuting because of #lrtfail . We decided that spending $40 a day on Ubers is worth saving the time and stress of bus times and not being able to feel safe on the bus due to crowding
@OC_Transpo @smwgilbert I did a fun calculation today. Since the R1s took over, I am spending on average 18 to 22 hours a week on a bus or waiting for a bus. That means that almost a full day of my week is spent dealing with this. It used to be 10-14 with good timing.

@ctvottawa The @ottawacity used to manage snow clearing with no bans. Then introduced one for overnight ban and managed snow removal. Now the city has daytime bans and views this as a cash cow, there is no purpose for this except to issue tons if tickets. With #LRTfail commuters are stuck.
