What an amazing journey it has been! Last night, I earned the distinction of Master Trustee alongside 32 other trustees from across the state after one year, five sessions, six master classes, eight district visits, and over 136+ hours of leadership training. #LTASBClassOf2024 #LTASB My journey through Leadership TASB has been nothing short of transformative. Since starting this educational leadership adventure last September, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of school board governance, learned from top experts, and built lasting connections with passionate individuals who share my commitment to ensuring ALL kids win! #KidsDontGetADoOver #StandUpForPublicSchools #BecauseKids The insights gained during this leadership program have significantly broadened my understanding of the vital role school boards play in shaping our communities. This program has been a catalyst for personal growth, enhancing my leadership skills and deepening my comprehension of the challenges and opportunities in Texas public education. I am profoundly grateful to LTASB for granting me the opportunity to participate in this prestigious program and for this enriching experience. #txed #txlege #ContinuousLearning #LeadershipDevelopment #LeadByExample I want to express my sincere gratitude to @DrRLong3 for his exemplary leadership and unwavering passion, which have profoundly impacted this journey. Together with his dedicated team—@JasonBurdine1 , Jacob Cox, and Hannah Marie West—they devoted themselves wholeheartedly to every learning opportunity, ensuring that the LTASB Class of 2024 will indeed leave an enduring legacy as servant leaders in education. I eagerly anticipate the positive contributions I will now be equipped to make within our local education system. I believe that the knowledge and skills I’ve gained will allow me to serve our community more effectively and advocate for the needs of our students. It has been an honor to learn and grown alongside such passionate individuals, my LTASB Class of 2024 peers, with whom I’ve cultivated strong bonds and lasting friendships. #BCE #LTASB2024 #IsItAboutYouOrIsItAboutTheKids #BeIntentional #GiveGrace #BuildingHorses #BePassionate #ServantLeaders
