At various intervals along its journey through the #Ibadan #Golf Course, the #Labelabe #stream is gently coaxed into ornamental #lakes, which are regularly desilted and surrounded by #trees and #lush #riparian #vegetation.
Apart from lively birdsong, and the occasional crack of golf club against ball, there is no noise to disturb the peace of the water.
And nothing is ever thrown into, except for the odd golf ball on a trajectory of its own, which is quickly retrieved by the tireless caddies.
It is the most idyllic lifestyle for any body of water.

π³πͺ΅ The next #tributary to join the #Ogunpa #River after the Alawo stream, from the opposite bank, is the #Labelabe #stream, with two tributaries of its own, the Oniho and Onireke streams.
Arising beyond the perimeter fence at the Northern boundary of the #Ibadan #Golf Course in Onireke,
the first couple of kilometers or so of its journey towards the #Ogunpa,
is filled with #lush #green #vegetation and great good fortune.
The #Labelabe stream is much pampered and very well taken care of as it glides through the #serene #landscape of the #golf #course.
A stark contrast to the rough-and-ready beginnings of the #Alawo stream, its nearest neighbor at the #Ogunpa #River #channel.
