Landmark Global Learning H1 FY26 Concall Highlights:
👉FY 2026 & Future Outlook :
▫️Revenue: H2 FY26 is targeted to be significantly stronger than H1 to compensate for deferred enrollments and to catch up to FY25 base
💠Operating leverage expected to improve in H2 with revenue ramps up (fixed costs already incurred from branch expansions and marketing)
💠FY27: Targeting revenue of ~90cr with PAT margin: expected around ~22-25%.
💠FY28: Aspiration of achieving ≈ ₹150cr revenue with ≈ ₹50cr PAT.
▫️Margin Pressure Explanation (H1): Expansion of 5 new branches (higher rentals, branch-opening costs).
💠Aggressive advertising and sponsorship of international education fairs to build international brand positioning
👉Projects and pipeline:
▫️Currently healthy enquiries but elongated conversion cycles and deferred enrollments due to visa scrutiny, policy changes, and caution among students/lenders
💠Geography mix: Canada still dominant (~70%+ of business), but reduced from earlier higher dependence; growth in UK and Germany (now meaningful contribution, previously <10% combined)
▫️Dubai Campus: License imminent (expected in next 1–2 weeks from call date; delayed slightly but all preparations including curriculum ready)
💠Planned launch in Q4 FY26 (Jan–Mar 2026). Asset-light model (rented premises).
▫️Paris (France) Campus: Application process underway; license expected in next 45–60 days. Planned launch in Q1 FY27
💠Both campuses led by newly hired Director of Global Strategy, Mr. Mihai Ivanov (26+ years experience in international education and institution setup)
▫️Student sourcing: Combination of own channels + open to external agents and international recruitment.
💠Breakeven expected within first year for each campus; significant ramp-up from Year 2–3.
▫️Geographic Expansion & Pipeline:
💠Recently started operations in Bangladesh (student recruitment, ~2 months ago).
💠Very close to launching in Africa, Nepal, and Pakistan (to broaden student sourcing base).
💠Shift from pure agency model to full education company
💠Own campuses expected to be major growth driver starting FY27 onward
👉 Others :
▫️Industry Environment
💠Near-term headwinds: Tighter visa norms, longer processing times, policy changes in key destinations (esp. Canada), higher financial thresholds, moderated education loan disbursements, geopolitical/cost-of-living concerns
💠Management view: Temporary timing-related slowdown, not structural decline; long-term demand for international education remains strong.
▫️CapEx/OpEx for New Campuses: Asset-light approach (rented facilities); costs treated mainly as operating expenses
▫️Primary revenue: Commissions from universities/colleges
💠Minor revenue from students (minimal fees charged to ensure commitment).
▫️Strategic Positioning: Aggressive brand-building as a global education player (beyond immigration consultancy)
💠University partnerships across Canada, UK, USA, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Dubai, Singapore
💠End-to-end services: Counseling, admissions, test prep, loans, scholarships, etc.
💠Network: Company-owned branches + franchises + digital channels

Landmark Global Learning (formerly Landmark Immigration Consultants) FY25 Concall Highlights:
👉FY 2026 & Future Outlook :
▫️ Aims for a ~70-75% revenue increase in FY26
💠Canada impact is limited, as Landmark targets 4,000–5,000 students annually (vs. Canada’s 437,000 intake). Market consolidation benefits, as smaller players exit
💠~60-70% revenues targeted from Canada (~4000-5000 students); rest from other countries
💠Target to place 10,000+ students over the next 3 yrs; revenue aspirations ~500cr
▫️Confident of maintaining ~45% EBITDA & similar PAT margins like FY25
💠Though due to expansion of branches and other marketing activities; max downside can lead to ~40% EBITDA & ~30% PAT
▫️Acknowledged adding more business updates and program details to exchange announcements, noting existing social media activity and branch opening disclosures
👉Current branches / programmes and pipeline:
▫️Operates 11 company-owned branches and 3 franchises, with 3 new branches recently opened in Surat, Ahmedabad, and Delhi
💠Plans to open 18 new branches; 6-8 branches in FY26 domestically. Kerala, Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh, Pune, Indore, Mumbai currently shortlisted
💠The focus remains on COCO branch model due to control and market penetration needs, with franchisee development in early stages (2–3% revenue currently). Personnel appointed to handle franchise segment
💠In regards to expansion; were Diamond Sponsors for biggest event of universities, Asia Pacific Association for International Education, conducted in Delhi. 32 collaborations recently done in various countries like UK, USA, Spain, UAE, Germany etc; leveraging exclusive representation agreements with 4–6 international universities & direct contract with over 150 Universities across globe
▫️Pipeline:
💠Adding branches in domestic markets and also expanding internationally to Dubai and Canada
💠Pathway Programs: Designing programs to facilitate seamless transitions from Indian to international universities
💠Acquisitions: In advanced stages of acquiring an Indian nursing college, an engineering college, and a regional immigration consultancy to support vertical integration and pathway programs
💠AI-Based Initiatives: Developing a student assessment model with an AI provider to streamline admissions and a potential AI-based call center and app to enhance student engagement
💠Visa Processing Solutions: Planning to support domestic universities with visa processing services, AI-based assessments; leveraging expertise in document verification for embassy / high-commission
💠Planning video counselling sessions for students across India in ~60 days from call
👉 Others :
▫️Revenue Composition: ~90% of revenue comes from university commissions, primarily first-year tuition fees, with no direct charges to students. Commissions are percentage-based or fixed, varying by college. University fees range from INR 8 lakhs to INR 30–40 lakhs, with commissions tied to first-year fees, providing context for revenue potential
▫️ Marketing Strategy: ~20% of revenue spent on advertising, including digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, radio, theater, and seminars
▫️Financial Health: Debt-free company with a 90–180-day working capital cycle due to commission cycles
💠Receivables rose due to higher commission because of January student in-take, as per industry practices; most of the parts recovered
💠Debtors-to-Sales Ratio may increase going ahead but clarified it won’t grow proportionally highlighting debt-free status
▫️Competitive Landscape: Major competitors include IDP (125 branches, Australian-backed, ~1,500cr from India). Landmark’s market share is ~2–3%, sending 3,000–3,500 students annually
💠Differentiation: Stressed on Landmark's no fee structure and better scholarships, addressing the unstructured market where students rely on trust and references (50% of business) and social media advertisement; market isn’t mature for app-only applications due to trust and high costs
▫️Student Demographics: Student demand is equally split between undergrad and postgrad, particularly in Northern India, addressing market segment clarity
▫️IPO funds (majorly for acquisition, branding, marketing) partially deployed; rest will be deployed over ~18 months (as per timelines mentioned in RHP)
▫️175+ employees on payroll, up from 108 employees in FY24. Decrease in employee benefit expenses in FY25 was due to shift from fixed pay structure to variable pay structure
▫️Canadian Market: After all the policy shift; still taking in 4.5 lakh students; US & UK taking ~1.5 lakh students
