The collective project with SciencesPo students keeps going! After a few meetings to brainstorm about the New European Bauhaus they are now working on some practical models to apply such knowledge to concrete cultural innovative projects. These students are the icing on #LeCAKE.

Clearly, reward is not enough, and domain knowledge is necessary. The important question is whether domain knowledge can be learned. My answer is a clear yes. And my vote is on some form of non-task-specific self-supervised learning to learn world models. #LeCake #SSL

This surprising result should serve as a moment of reckoning for RL research. Reward may be enough in theory (if only) but an astounding amount of domain knowledge can, and probably must, be exploited in order to tractably solve complex problems.
