There is more to say on #LegacyCollections, the archaeology of archaeology, & our evolving responsibilities to that nebulous thing known as the archaeological record. I need more time to process those thoughts, but for now I'm glad we could clear up this mystery. 14/15
This adds to growing suspicions that ancient African peoples were more physically & behaviourally diverse than previously thought. Arch skeletons provide important clues about variation that has since been lost. This makes #legacycollections like Kisese II even more valuable 11/n
