I believe a stock's long term price structure, ie whether it's higher highs/ higher lows, lower highs/ lower lows, long bases, etc speaks volumes about the behind the scenes conditions, both pertaining to the company itself but also macro aspects as well. Historically OTCs are some of the worst long term holds, and objectively speaking that's undeniable. The typical historical OTC is almost always a perpetual trend of lower lows then lower highs. Let's say an OTC was setting up to breakout to a new 52 year high. Well historically even if it ran super hard at that stage, the end result would be a lower high than it's last major high point. The technicals reflect the fundamentals/macro conditions, and for a number of reasons OTCs were always best looked at as toxic garbage. And I mean specifically from analyzing it's long term trend/structure. #otcset patterns though have broken from that norm over the years. For a number of reasons we can sit and debate, any ticker that meets this pattern has essentially stopped doing the death spiral, aka perpetual lower lows and lower highs. Your average #otcset put in a long term low somewhere around 10 or more years ago and hasn't broken through since. Many #otcset also hit new long highs (say at least new 5 year highs) in 2020/21, and have since then put in a higher low vs the lows from before 20/21. That in effect sets up a 10+ year base with higher highs and higher lows, and by my calculation there are hundreds of these potentially. It's literally unprecedented the number of these mega bases/bullish breakout setups are and it's a direct reflection of long term potential with these respective companies, but also a sign that there are macro elements at work that are making the odds of survival much better for these OTCs than has been the case historically. I have lots of theories on this but that's another topic for another day. The long story short though is that I believe anything that matches the #otcset pattern and especially the strongest examples, which $AABB is, reflect some insane upside potential and it's likely spread out over years. To me this objectively bullish price action/structure is proof/confirmation that the fundamentals and narratives to many of these shells/tickers is quite real. Death spiral charts = toxic abyss that even the best intentions can't break free from but #otcset charts = strong price structure that puts the path of least resistance to the upside for once and has the benefit of long term tailwinds, opposed to the standard headwinds that plague OTCs historically. To put it another way, I think anyone who loves the DD and upside potential AND has an #otcset chart to match is essentially sitting on a goldmine. Sometimes literally. :)
