BREAKING: Man and child fighting for life with 3 children left with life changing injured in fireball horror after tipper truck explosion At 2.17pm yesterday (28 June), emergency services including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to the Hare and Hounds Inn on Liley Lane, Mirfield after an explosion inside a tipper truck type vehicle nearby. West Yorkshire police in a statement said: At 2.17pm yesterday (28 June), police were called to a report of an explosion in a vehicle at the Hare and Hounds Inn, Liley Lane, Mirfield. Emergency services attended and found that five people in the vehicle – four children and a man – had suffered serious burns. All of them were taken to hospital for treatment. The man's injuries are believed to be life-threatening, as are one of the children's. The three other children have injuries which are believed to be life-changing.
