7/ What about the rest of the ETH sitting in CDPs, ensuring the minimum 150% collateral requirement is met? Could that also sit in a @compoundfinance money market, earning the current 0.27% APR? No, bc an asset can't be in 2 places at once. Or can it...? #LiquidCollateral

5/ There are currently >2M ETH locked in @MakerDAO CDPs, generating ~78M DAI. That means at current prices, >50% of the ETH in CDPs isn't "required" for collateral. It is a completely dead, unproductive asset. What if it doesn't have to be that way? Enter #LiquidCollateral.

4/ In #OpenFinance, we tend to think of assets used as collateral as just that: assets in use as collateral. Those assets may eventually be released and re-used, but for now, they're just collateral. But what if it doesn't have to be that way? Enter #LiquidCollateral.
