Here's something not to do with #MIM2016. Don't integrate with a customer's auditing capability by synchronising MIM requests to a database. OMG so many MV entries now it grinds to a halt. Undoing now and just using #Lithnet RMA to pull requests out and pipe to auditing system.

So "/MyResource[not(Managers=/Person)]" works as xpath query via #lithnet PS but is not accepted by MIM as a custom set criteria. Request denied! ARGH. How are you meant to have a set for empty MVAs? #mim2016 #idam

If you deploy #Lithnet REST API for #MIM2016 and run MIM version 4.5.286.0. Be aware that the ResourceManagement.dll lists version 4.5.0.0 in the Manifest so that's what you need to put in web.config bindingRedirect
