Too many states looking at large cash windfalls do not want anything to jeopardize that, especially the fact that most who got addicted NEVER had a legal prescription for the drugs they've blamed for their issues. 🤷♀️

None of them will stay in business if they go against the #LitigationNarrative, especially while lawsuits are still winding their way through the courts. There's literally too much money on the line (that most states have essentially already spent) to derail the narrative.
Journalists KNOW that people w/chronic pain aren't getting the medicines they need. They see/know our hashtags.
Their bosses aren't giving the issue the time of day, unlike they did for those promoting the opioid litigation narrative.
Question one has to ask-

@SarahWW I suspect it's done,intentionally, in order to keep the moral panic alive and well while these lawsuits work their way through the courts. Admitting that these meds can be safely used goes against the #LitigationNarrative

@btysonmd Especially for impacted wisdom teeth. Mine were impacted, and both of my daughters had impacted wisdom teeth as well. Fortunately, this was before the #LitigationNarrative took hold, so they both got a small amount of oxycodone.
