The last pieces of “evidence” in their TikTok carousel were the following: 8. The alleged tweet included the hashtag #LittleBows, which was commonly used because that’s what Melanie called her fanbase at the time. 9. They claimed the screenshot is an “extremely rare tweet” because 2012 was an “obscure” period of Melanie’s career, when very few of her tweets were archived. According to them, the screenshot was most likely saved by an excited fan, and they even speculated that there are probably more tweets of Melanie using racial slurs that simply haven’t been found yet. 10. They argued the screenshot was “recovered by chance,” claiming it was simply captured by a fan who was overjoyed that Melanie had replied to them, with no ulterior motive other than preserving the interaction. Finally, @lookiiecookiie concluded that the screenshot must be genuine, arguing that a fan would have had no reason to fabricate it, and, according to them, no way to do so either, since fake tweet generators and mobile Photoshop apps supposedly didn’t exist at the time. They also reiterated that the username, profile picture, and other details all match. >>>
