The top donor to Chicago Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez is the Chicago Teachers Union.
The union’s PAC has contributed $106,589 to his campaign committee.
Sigcho-Lopez is also Brandon Johnson’s hand-picked chair of the City Council Committee on Housing and Real Estate.
The City Council should immediately censure. @ChicagosMayor should immediately call for his resignation. And @stacydavisgates @jacksonpCTU should denounce and pledge not to give another dime.
