Crossgates Libray opened on December 14th 1939, even after the outbreak of the Second World War in earlier September. Named the Percival Leigh Library, after a former Lord Mayor. It was purposely built, serving a large community, with a stock of 23,000 books. #LeedsLibrariesCHT

Just sent off one of our books on maintaining metal that is over a decade old.
I don't know who it's for but I'm geussing Prince Andrew.

Spent the last hour sorting the Romance section and judging by the blurbs of these books all I need for a successful love life is to be unbelievably handsome, a phenomenal lover and ludicrously wealthy.
I geuss two out of three ain't bad.

No customers allowed in and all normal daily tasks done has lead to excessive shelf tidying. All books now in smart lines. The only tidier lines in all the land are on Micheal Gove's desk.
