Today, ETF's #LogisticsActionDays went to Rome, Italy.
Together with our national affiliates @FitCisl, @UILofficial and @FiltCgil, we delivered our Manifesto for Logistics Workers to Marina Calderone, Minister of Labour and Social Policies. The EU and national governments must take action and listen to the demands of the logistics workers:
✊ Dignified Work
✊ Collective Bargaining
✊ End Precarious Work
✊ Industry regulation
✊ Transparent funding

🎙️ Los debates se han centrado en los riesgos psicosociales, la inteligencia artificial y las externalizaciones.

📣 An empowering day at the #LogisticsActionDays event in Madrid, organized by FSC-CCOO and ETF! Over 100 trade union reps gathered to discuss the future of AI in logistics and its impact on workers. We heard from workers, representatives and experts like Aida Ponce de Castillo (ETUI), that advocated setting up limits on AI use to determine workers' routines. 🤖👩🔧
🎙️ETF’s GS Livia Spera, emphasized ETF's commitment to logistics workers, the fastest-growing segment among our transport members. Livia unveiled the Logistics Manifesto, advocating for professional standards, secure work, and collective bargaining. She also stressed the importance of international cooperation, namely through ETF, to challenge the might of multinational corporations in logistics. ✊🌍

Today, the #logisticsactiondays went to DHL's global forwarding depot in Brussels. @ETF_Europe and @btb_abvv/ @UBT_FGTB joined forces to shine a spotlight on the crucial role of logistics workers and to advocate for their workplace rights. 🤝
ETF's General Secretary Livia Spera and ETF's/BTB's President @frankmoreelsETF, commended the positive industrial relations between DHL and BTB. We call on other logistics companies to follow suit and engage in constructive dialogues with unions. 👏

Our #LogisticsActionDays campaign started with some actions in Stockholm, Sweden. Nordic Transport Workers' Federation , the local Swedish Transport Workers' Union, and Johan Danielsson from the @LOSverige Confederation, engaged with logistics workers at Instabee Group AB. A Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) has been successfully negotiated by the unions, ensuring better working conditions for the staff.
