This isn't the first time I'm mentioning this, but I really love how #Longxi lets horses act like actual horses, i.e. munch on everything green in close proximity. I highly doubt that it was planned, and I love that they kept it in the final cut, including the sounds.

Also let's have a moment of appreciation for #Longxi's stills. For one, they're gorgeous. But also, they barely reveal anything about the story. They suggest more than they tell. So even if I'm behind, I have no issue with admiring the stills because they don't spoil anything.

Bai Yu’s character got off his horse to greet someone and his horse just walked away to get food. I love this!
1) it’s such a horse thing that horses do all the time
2) it shows Bai Yu’s char.’s field inexperience in a comedic yet totally realistic inconsequential way

I am pleased, I really am. However, the music is very subpar. It's either too loud and annoying or extremely generic and manipulative. Most scenes would be better without any background score. If I have to name the one thing that's not working with #Longxi, it's the music.

#Longxi first impressions: The visuals are excellent. This drama's stills have drawn me from the start and I do not feel cheated by the marketing whatsoever; the stills reflect the actual look of the drama. I'm already feeling the characters and the principal conflict.
