Excited to be joining a heap of other @Ableton users today for their #LoopCreate event. As a relatively new @AbletonLive user, I'm looking forward to seeing more insights as to what can be achieved on the platform (and how).
After #LoopCreate last weekend I finally got around to noodling about with a few silent video clips on Ableton!
Time limit of 15 mins per clip & sticking to the below constraints!
Clip 1 - Only recorded sounds
Clip 2 - Only sourced sounds
Clip 3 - Only 'Operator'-created sounds

3/ The fact that @Ableton decided to make these things the main theme of #LoopCreate is a proof that it’s very important part of thinking and discussing about contemporary music and making it.
2/ It’s also cool that lo-fi recording techniques and lo-fi aesthetics was so big part of the workshop and discussion. Serious focusing on recording different elements of the song on iPhone shows that „good-sound-must-cost-100000$” rule is out of date.

1/ A few thoughts about today’s @Ableton #LoopCreate event.
The whole conference was about connection and relationship between environment and sound. It’s so great to see that field recordings, sound design and ambient//textures way of thinking become a kind of trend.
Super grateful that @ableton is offering the Loop Create artists workshop today. Learning so much!
