12 years ago (a couple of weeks after we moved in) we started 'The Works'. It felt good to strip away the wrongs we felt had been done to The Control Tower but it would be 2.5 before it started to look better.

When we saw The Control Tower back in 2011 we new instantly what it could be like. For some (strange) reason, we were unfazed by what needed to be done to bring The Control Tower back to how (we felt) it should be.

One of my favourite original features at the tower. These concrete stairs were cast on site, they had an oak covering (and carpet) on top. It was with great delight we jemmied off the first oak board and found these.
