@bgpourpride #Tirhutiya is basically used for #Maithils. See some proverbs: तीन तिरहुतिया, तेरह पाक; गये गाछ जहॉं बगुला बैठे, गये राज तिरहुतिया पैठे। 😄

We should actually go in history also. Decadence and Resurgence of Patliputra / Patna should be known. Contribution & soft power of a #Maithil & thus all #Maithils to make today's Patna the capital city of present day Bihar & Bihar+Orissa province should be known.

For that #Maithils need to research & submit reports on #Maithili language, heritage & history to the concerned authority. They need to be assertive. Revive #Tirhuta But what they mostly do is fight over dialects with inconsequential differences or promote Hindi incessantly.

1. Doesn't really matter if it's 1 district or 10. Also you don't get to decide.If we can hv a Goa ,a Sikkim, a Tripura, then we shd also hv #Mithila 2. You want #Mithila to rejoin Bengal? That will still call for separation of the land 3.Also #Maithils hv their own genealogy
