TRANS: Ilham Ahmed spoke from Hewlêr: Kidnappings and murders increased in Syria after integration 🔶 Kurdish politician Ilham Ahmed, a member of the Syrian People's Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, said at the #MERI Forum that the revolution in post-Assad Syria has "remained incomplete." Ahmed noted that, despite the recognition of the Kurdish language, education in the mother tongue has still not been implemented.
So was Sharaa telling a lie about promising education in one's mother tongue to the UN and the world? If so, call it out. And given the terrible suffering that integration is bringing to Kurds, what are these decision makers like @MazloumAbdi and #IlhamAhmed going to do about it? It truly is a shocking state of affairs.
