One of the very thoughtful students in P3/2 created the Amazon Rainforest over the weekend after we focused on this area in one of our global themes. It's lovely to see the pupils so engaged in global citizenship and taking their learning home. @MossvaleP #MEduc4 #globalcitizen
Interrelativity in as many spheres as possible !!! Our global citizenship board. #MEduc4 @UofGEducation #ecopedagogy #ClimateAction @GCEducationScot
Ever wondered what a day out on placement could be like? @MissSJHamilton1 gives us an amazing snapshot of her day, as she traveled the polar ice caps with her P2/3 #MEduc4 #SayYesToTeaching
Today we visited the Polar regions in P3/2. We discussed climate change, what is contributing to the warming of our home and how we can help. The pupils also created igloos which had links to STEM π. @UofGEducation #MEduc4 #edutwitter @MossvaleP

Such a fun three weeks with @MossvaleP, thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. Here is a little highlight from this week, our Easter tuff tray which incorporated addition and multiplication. #MEduc4 #edutwitter @UofGEducation #studentteacher
An afternoon as tiny teacher has been such a succes I had to share. The pupils each morning come in asking who the tiny teacher will be. Tiny T receives a lanyard, helps me deliver lessons and a tiny certificate to take π‘. #MEduc4 #studentteacher #behaviourmanagment
Thank you to @newteacherstalk for asking for my views on his new book which goes to publish later this year. Your personal anecdotes and ethical conundrums really brought this book alive. #becomingateacher #MEduc4 #edutwitter
#dayofreflection @BackyardNatUK Primary 2/3 reflected on lockdown one year on and made some spring flowers to represent HOPE. @MossvaleP. #MEduc4 #teachertwitter

Starting to get super excited for Monday! My final ever student placement. As Rita Pierson said- every child deserves a champion. Someone who is excited to work with them everyday. I canβt wait to wake up everyday as someoneβs teacher! #HappyWednesday #edutwitter #meduc4
I really hope our #MEduc4 students see this. Hereβs a real life example of the need fir critical literacy @UofGEducation
Ok folksβWHY is nothing being done about this?? What will it take??
The day after Justice Dept. found no evidence of widespread election fraud, Trump posts video filled with falsehoods. https://t.co/3NKTryg7Fh
I wonβt be watching this - too scary for me- but all my MEduc 4 students should read this and view and consider audience manipulation. Critical literacy cropping up everywhere just now. @UofGEducation #MEduc4
How we made: BBC mockumentary Ghostwatch. So good to see this. Remains an absolute triumph of British #Halloween TV #Halloween2020. We watched the βliveβ broadcast. Terrifying https://t.co/GB2EhrJxGd
This event might on "Reimagining schools" be of interest to colleagues and #MEduc4 students @UofGEducation https://t.co/jfRJ194GSu
On this #FridaysForFuture #MEduc4 students and I discussed on Zoom how we as teachers can take up our place in addressing environmental crisis and the writers we could draw upon past and present for inspiration @UofGEducation
Back to uni today, it feels very strange having virtual classes! However I much prefer the 30 second commute to my laptop as opposed to 1.5 hours via car, train and subwayβ»οΈ #environmentallyfriendly #MEduc4 #TeamUofG
