#MLKLOCS Q4 a lot of colleges have a common reading activity for incoming freshmen. Could we do something like that? Either one book each at HS, MS, and elementary levels or maybe even a really simple book across the district for community discussion.

#MLKLOCS Q4. After nearly a year of limited interactions with people outside of their families and entering back into a rather divided community, helping students with how to communicate with others who are different (including politically different) is essential.

@CuretonMichelle A1. Dr. King articulated and educated the purpose and rationale for all actions. His words moved people to understand our systems flaws. He would articulate how we still have so much work to do while expressing what great work we should continue. #MLKLocs

#MLKLocs A1 We often forget how controversial MLK Jr was in his time. While I think he would support peaceful protest, I think he would support ideas surrounding economic changes, boycotts, and protests that are still sometimes unpopular.
