One of the top performers from #MLKProInvite up to 90 mph w/ a hard-sweeping BB across the zone from a low 3/4 slot. Everyone I’ve talked to has the same thing to say: extremely hard worker. Only up from here, congrats! @GregWilliamsPBR
I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at The University of Pittsburgh. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point. #H2P
@DanCevette @MSI_Baseball @T_Wills1 @pbrpennsylvania @prepbaseball All about the players! Happy to be on the same team to help them reach the next level. #MLKPROINVITE
‘21 LHP Colton Book (Manheim Central / @StonyBrookBASE) with pinpoint command on an 88-90 mph FB. Smooth mechanics & likes to attack early, short breaking SL at 82 and good CH w/ fade to RHH. Best pickoff move we’ve seen from a LHP. @KSBombers @pbrpennsylvania #MLKProInvite
‘21 RHP Trey Yesavage (Boyertown / @ECUBaseball) popped again, T93 on the FB w/ bowling ball heaviness at the ⬇️ of the zone. Obvious mound presence in a PHYS 6-4, 240 lb frame. An 82 mph SL is the K pitch w/ good horizontal bite. Commanded an 81 mph downer CH too 👀#MLKProInvite
A look at a nasty 77 mph two-plane breaker from Zach Klapak (2350 RPM’s @TrackManBB). The @FalconsBase product added in a riding 91-92 mph, T93 FB as well giving him an easy putaway combo. Good arm speed on both offerings. #MLKProInvite
LHP Garrett Crowley (Jr. @FordhamBaseball) featured a whippy arm in the delivery w/ some hip coil at the top of the stack. Hides the ball well allowing a 91-92 mph FB to play with late life. Tight low to mid 80’s SL at 2350 spin as the putaway pitch. 6-4, 225 lbs. #MLKProInvite
RHP Dylan Heid (Jr. at @upjbaseball) impressed w/ easy velocity and ⬆️ extension on the release sitting 93-95 mph @TrackManBB during his pen 🔥. A 6-2, 205 pound frame allows for consistent strength in the movements and above AVG durability. #MLKProInvite
‘21 LHP Cole Shugy Klein (Germantown Academy / @GWBaseball1) is PROJ at 6-4, 200-pounds and moves well in that frame living off of the arm side corner w/ tons of movement. Showed 87-88 mph FB in the zone w/ some heaviness & ADV feel for both offspeed offerings. #MLKProInvite
‘21 RHP Tommy Molsky (Northern York / @PennStateBASE) continues surging. Well ADV flexibility in the delivery getting good jump at the hitter on the FB peaking at 94 mph (8 in. ASR). Commanded the offspeed well including a sharp 83 mph SL; the K potential is there. #MLKProInvite
‘21 RHP Phil Fox (Hempfield Area / @GWUBaseball) sitting 85-86 mph with powerful lower half drive. FB rides plenty with 2450 spin @TrackManBB allowing for s&m above the belt. Showed consistent, two-plane shape on a 69-70 breaker w/ 2530 RPM’s. Velo will continue ⬆️ #MLKProInvite
‘22 RHP Gavin Lill (West Chester East) continues improving. Lived in the zone w/ heavy 90 mph FB from tough, low 3/4 slot.. Turned it over for wipeout 76 SL across the zone getting up to 2708 spin @TrackManBB. True strikeout potential and command keeps jumping. #MLKProInvite
‘24 1B/LHP Tague Davis @MPFriarBaseball is going to be a problem for opposing hitters for years to come.. 84-85 mph FB from a loose 3/4 slot and mixing in a parachute CH at 76 w/ fade. Good sell on the offspeed and competes in the zone. Time to continue refinement. #MLKProInvite
Every time I see ‘22 1B Jake Books (Spring-Ford / @Pitt_BASE) swing it, it seems as though he’s gotten even more refined than the last time. Stays on the ball very well for a middle of the order hitter but can run it out of the yard w/ a 99.3 exit. Tough AB against. #MLKProInvite
The sweet swinging LHH, ‘21 3B Joe Jaconski (Plymouth Whitemarsh / @DiamondHeels) made an impression at #MLKProInvite.. Repeatedly leveraged at impact, showed off quality lower-half usage, & sprayed hard contact thru the middle of the field. 96.3 mph peak exit w/ room for more.
‘21 OF Jake Millan (North Pocono / @FAUBaseball) quietly has had an extremely productive day at #MLKProInvite. Switch-hitter up to 102 mph exit as a RHH, 94 from the left side. Power hitter projection with ability to hit for average (good B2B skills). Also a 7.15 runner.
A prolific riser in the ‘23 class, SS Kevin McGonigle (Bonner Pendergast / @AuburnBaseball) had one of the most consistent rounds living w/ hard, head high LD in middle of the field. Looks hitterish / doesn’t get cheated, 96.6 exit. Will be a top of the order bat #MLKProInvite
‘21 1B Jimmy Kirk (@MPFriarBaseball) keeps on swinging it. Mostly pull-side approach & likes to get the hips going early, but really releases the bat thru extension. Plenty of juice to LF & 101.1 mph peak exit. Stood out in game this summer at numerous PBR events. #MLKProInvite
Light tower power from @PSUHarrisburg Jr. Bret Williams. Tons of control and raw strength in the swing allowing for 107 mph rockets off of the bat to LCF. 375 foot max distance per @TrackManBB leading the pack at #MLKProInvite. Legitimate middle of the order bat.
‘22 3B/RHP Reuben Livingston (Wilson West Lawn / @KentStBaseball) is a legitimate two-way candidate w/ the offense leading the way. Standout at the #NEFutureGames pacing Team PA in hitting. 99.9 mph exit velocity / ability to handle all quadrants of the zone. #MLKProInvite
