The words you choose can deeply hurt others, no matter what the intention is. Future educators MUST be aware the language of themselves and the students. Teachers who are educated on what micro-aggressions are will create a better world of learning and community. #MSUTE101

Sensoy & Diangelo write about oppression, prejudice, and discrimination. Teaching about these things allows students to recognize them in their lives, in their relationships, and in society. As educators, we should equip students with skills to combat them. #MSUTE101
These definitions foster awareness and educate teachers so that they may educate others; it's another layer of understanding.
