Today Maura Healey is expected to wave her magic wand giving herself emergency powers to fast track a sweeping gun law she signed in July, making it an “emergency” law. The move will pre-empt the efforts of Second Amendment rights groups to suspend the measure, shelving it until the 2026 elections. Here are a few questions for @maura_healey —What is the “emergency” that warrants this immediate tyrannical action? —What part of “shall not be infringed” don’t you understand? —By what authority are you granting yourself these powers? Arbitrary use of power, is abuse of power. All powers must be expressly delegated by the people. Any assumed power is an act of usurpation.
